In Daydream (1983), Maria Angela captures the intensity of an inner moment. A portrait of a woman, expressive and still at the same time, looks out into the world—or perhaps inward.
Her sharp gaze is framed by graceful, horn-like shapes, like thoughts that have been given form.
The colors—blue, white, and soft skin tones—merge into a fluid whole, as if the dream had just taken place somewhere.
