Ascension

Ascension is a work of art that uses the zodiac as a cosmic guide, a band in the sky that traces the apparent paths of the Sun , Moon , and planets . The zodiac is a mirror of archetypal forces and universal principles—the twelve signs, each imbued with specific qualities and symbols , representing different stages of our spiritual journey.

In this work the zodiac and the stars come together, and an attempt is made to visualize the spiritual journey of the soul . The rising of an elemental from a plant, born of the zodiac, symbolizes that our spiritual growth is interwoven with the archetypes and cosmic forces that the stars represent.
